From weekly Dharma gatherings to Funeral Services, the Utah / Salt Lake Buddhist Fellowship is authorized to perform weddings, memorial services, baby and home blessings, and other important ceremonies. Our sensei will work closely with you to find and adapt, the right ritual for your particular need.

We meet for support in our practice, aspirations, chanting, silent mediation and dharma talks. No dress code, come as you are.
Learn the basics of mediation in a non-judgmental environment and experience communal meditative practice.
Gain a good basic understanding of Buddhism from an “everyday practice” perspective and an introduction to the Bright Dawn Way of oneness. This is a 12 week course with a 4 book response papers and four group discussions.
The fundamental aim of Buddhism is Awakening for the sake of all beings. Traditionally Buddhists express this aspiration by ‘Going for Refuge’ to the Buddha, his Dharma (teaching) and the Sangha (spiritual community) – or the Three Jewels, as they are called. It is customary to make a donation to both the officiant and to SLBF. Our sensei can perform ceremonies and rituals throughout the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys.
